Vagal Hub

Plug it in by your bed. It takes care of the rest.

Vagal Hub is a small Wi-Fi stick that plugs into any USB charger by your bed. Overnight it collects your blood oxygen and pulse from a Wellue O2Ring. During the day it holds the connection to your Vagal Buddy, so Harv or your own Claude can run your sessions. There's no phone to keep nearby, no browser tab to leave open and nothing to sync in the morning.

  • Overnight SpO2 and pulse
  • Hands-free sessions with Harv
  • One clock for every signal
  • Nothing lost if Wi-Fi drops
  • Your data as files
  • Set up once

One night with Vagal Hub

From your evening session to your morning data, hands-free

  1. Evening

    Your session, without the phone

Ask Harv, or your own Claude, to run your evening Tone. The hub holds the Bluetooth link to your Buddy, so nothing depends on your phone or an open browser tab.

  2. Overnight

Your oxygen is recorded as you sleep

Wear a Wellue O2Ring. It records your blood oxygen (SpO2) and pulse rate all night, and the hub keeps watch, so you can see the live reading at vagal.com/hub. If the Wi-Fi drops, nothing is lost: the ring keeps its own recording.

  3. Morning

    Your night is already there

A few minutes after you take the ring off, the hub copies the night to your account. The hub sets the ring's clock, so your night and your session are timed to the same second, ready for you, Harv or Claude to compare.

One small hub between your devices and your account

Each device keeps its own Bluetooth link to the hub. Only the hub needs Wi-Fi, and everything you see or control goes through your vagal.com account.

By your bed

  • Vagal Buddy
  • Wellue O2Ring
  • Heart rate strap
  • Vagal Oh! and Toner Soon

In a USB charger

Vagal Hub

Keeps one clock for every device and holds the link to your Buddy.

Online

Your vagal.com account

Used by you, Harv and your own Claude. Watch and control your hub at vagal.com/hub.

What it does

Everything here works from the day your hub arrives.

Overnight oxygen and pulse

Collects each night's SpO2, pulse rate and movement from a Wellue O2Ring, and shows the live reading while you wear it.

Hands-free Buddy sessions

Harv or your own Claude can start, adjust and stop your Buddy sessions through the hub, within safety limits the hub enforces itself.

One clock for every signal

The hub sets the ring's clock and time-stamps every session from its internet-synced clock, so stimulation, oxygen and pulse line up to the second.

Your data, as files

Chart any night, or download it as CSV or as the ring's own raw file. Every session the hub runs is also recorded value by value, as a file you can download.

Buddy session logs, no computer

Your Buddy's own session logs are copied to your account automatically, and cleared from the device only once they are safely stored.

Heart rate straps

Pair a standard Bluetooth chest strap, such as the Polar H10, and the hub reads your heart rate during sessions.

Keeps going when the Wi-Fi doesn't

If your internet drops, the hub ends any running session safely and the ring keeps recording. Everything uploads once you're back online.

Updates itself

New features and fixes install over Wi-Fi, in the daytime when nothing is running. If an update ever fails to start, the hub rolls back to the last version that worked.

See it all at vagal.com/hub

What the hub is connected to right now, a copy of its screen, your nights and sessions, and its activity in plain words. Stop a session from there at any time.

Coming in updates

These install over Wi-Fi as they're released.

  • Morning report. Lowest SpO2, oxygen drops per hour, time below 90%, pulse, overnight HRV and the stimulation you did, by email or in the app.
  • Night and session on one chart. See a night and the session before it together.
  • Vagal Oh! and Toner sessions. The hub already recognises both. Hands-free sessions for them come next.
  • HRV from heart rate straps. Beat-to-beat HRV recorded alongside each session.
  • Stimulator firmware updates. Keeps your Buddy and Oh! up to date, with no computer or phone.
  • Gentle notices. A heads-up for a low battery, poor electrode contact, a ring left off or a hub that has gone quiet for a day. Never alarms.
  • EDF export. Per-night files in EDF, the standard sleep-lab format, alongside today's CSV.
  • Clinician access. Share your nights with your clinician from your account, and take access back at any time.
  • Bedtime prompts. A reminder to start your evening Tone. You still start it yourself.

Meet Harv

Harv, your Vagal guide, comes built in

Harv is Vagal's own AI guide. Harv lives in the Vagal app and on vagal.com, knows your Vagal devices, and can run a session for you through the hub. There's no separate AI account to set up.

What Harv does

  • Starts, adjusts and stops your Buddy sessions through the hub when you ask
  • Walks you through a before-and-after HRV check: a short baseline, your session, then recovery
  • Shows how your heart rate and HRV changed, in plain words
  • Works within the same safety limits as everything else, and never starts a session you didn't ask for
Try Harv in the HRV Lab

The HRV Lab needs a computer with Chrome or Edge and a Bluetooth chest strap. Harv is also in the Vagal app.

Harv, your own Claude, or the app?

  • HarvBuilt in, nothing to set up. Open Harv in the Vagal app or on vagal.com.
  • Your own ClaudeFor people who want to use their own Claude account and tools. Add it as a custom connector from vagal.com/hub. Needs Buddy Research Edition.
  • The Vagal appPrefer to run sessions yourself? Press Disconnect at vagal.com/hub and the hub lets go of your Buddy for an hour, so the app can connect.

Set up once, then forget it

Setup takes a few minutes with your phone or a computer. After that the hub runs on its own.

  1. Plug it in by your bed

Use any USB wall charger. In a few seconds its screen shows a square code.

  2. Give it your Wi-Fi

Scan the code with your phone camera, or connect over Bluetooth or USB from vagal.com/hub in Chrome or Edge. Pick your network and type the password. It goes straight to the hub, never over the internet.

  3. Add it to your account

Scan the next code on its screen, or type its six digits at vagal.com/hub. It then finds your ring and stimulator by itself. If there are several nearby, you choose yours once.

On an iPhone?

Use the phone camera. It works on any phone and needs no app. Safari can't use Bluetooth or USB.

Through your clinic? Soon

Your hub will arrive already linked to your account, so you only add your Wi-Fi.

New router or password?

Unplug the hub and plug it back in three times, waiting for its screen to light each time. It then shows the code to scan again.

Safe by design

The hub never starts stimulation by itself, and its limits hold even when the internet doesn't.

  • Never starts on its ownYou, Harv or your own Claude start every session, and only when you ask. Reminders remind; they never start anything.
  • Limits on the hub itselfMaximum intensity, current and session length are enforced in the hub's firmware as well as on our servers.
  • Fails safeIf the connection drops mid-session, the session ends safely, and no new one starts until the link is back.
  • One controller at a timeThe hub or the Vagal app, never both. Press Disconnect at vagal.com/hub and the hub lets go of your Buddy for an hour.
  • No passwords on the stickThe hub has its own credential, which you revoke by removing it at vagal.com/hub. It never stores your vagal.com password or your Buddy's key.
  • Your data stays yoursYour nights and sessions are kept with your account. Download them whenever you like, or ask us to delete them.
  • Signed updates onlyThe hub only installs updates that come from Vagal.
  • Lost it, or passing it on?Remove it at vagal.com/hub. It goes back to its setup screen and can't send anything to your account again.

Works with

Questions and answers

Does Vagal Hub diagnose sleep apnea?

No. It records your oxygen and pulse so you can see your nights, but it is not a medical device. It doesn't diagnose any condition and doesn't sound alarms. If you're worried about your breathing at night, talk to your doctor about a sleep study.
