Firmware 6.8 expands what you can learn about your device’s status and introduces a new feature for users who need it. This update is about giving you more visibility and control.
Meet EverSteady Pulse+
We’ve added EverSteady Pulse+ functionality with full on/off control. If your usage includes this feature, you’ll now have complete control over when it’s active. For everyone else, it’s simply there when you need it.
Comprehensive Battery Intelligence
The battery status system got a major upgrade to the latest standard. Your companion app can now show you much more detailed information: whether you’re running on battery or plugged in, the exact charging state (not just “charging” but “fast charging,” “trickle charging,” etc.), precise charge levels, and even diagnostic information if charging issues occur.
This richer data helps you understand exactly what’s happening with your device’s power system. Having trouble charging? The app can now tell you why.
Smarter Safety During Charging
The device now prevents ear tests from starting while charging. It’s a safety measure that makes sense – testing should happen when the device is operating on battery power for accurate results.
Improved Sensitivity
We’ve refined the alert threshold for certain monitoring functions, making the device more responsive to conditions that matter.
Data Recording Fix
Corrected an issue where session data wasn’t being properly saved at the end. Your session history is now reliably recorded every time.
